History: 80-yr-old female with severe deformities in both her knees, refused surgery by multiple surgeons.
Case: This patient was operated for Total Knee Replacement Surgery by Dr. Amyn Rajani at Breach Candy Hospital.
Dr. Rajani’s take on the case: Every patient deserves the right to live with dignity and calculated risks are part and parcel of our lives. Obviously we have to be careful with patients of her age, but denying her the right to choose is not acceptable. She is absolutely stable now and took her first few steps two days back.
