History: 17-yr-old boy suffered from a bucket handle tear of the Medial Meniscus, complex tear of Lateral Meniscus and ACL Tear.
Case: A medial meniscus Repair of the bucket handle with all inside, Inside out and Outside in technique was performed. I repaired the lateral meniscus by all inside side-to-side sutures and reconstructed the ACL.
To excise the meniscus would be an easy option, but the patient being a 17-yr-old boy, I felt it would be criminal if the meniscus was not repaired. He will be non-weight bearing for 6 weeks as 8 stitches were taken in the meniscus, but the final result would be very satisfying for the patient and me.
